01 - Agreement
Acceptance of Terms

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using BharatYantra. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

By accessing or using BharatYantra (“Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, equipment listers, and renters. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

02 - Platform
Platform Description

BharatYantra is a marketplace platform that enables:

• Listing and discovery of agricultural and construction equipment for rent
• Company directory for agri and construction businesses
• Industry news, blog articles, and event listings
• Connection between equipment owners and renters via an anonymous WhatsApp relay (neither party sees the other's real phone number)

We are a marketplace platform, not a party to rental transactions. We do not own, operate, or warrant any equipment listed on our platform.

03 - Accounts
User Accounts & Facebook Login

Account Registration

You may register using your email address or via Facebook Login. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us of any unauthorised account access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

Facebook Login

If you choose to register or log in using Facebook, you authorise us to collect your basic profile information (name, email, and Facebook User ID) as described in our Privacy Policy. You remain subject to Facebook's own terms and community standards.

You may disconnect Facebook Login at any time through your account settings at /settings/account. This will not delete your BharatYantra account.

One Account Per User

Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

04 - Listings
Equipment Listings

When posting equipment for rent, you represent that:

• You own the equipment or are authorised to list it for rent
• All information (descriptions, photos, pricing) is accurate
• The equipment is in safe, working condition and compliant with applicable laws
• You hold appropriate insurance for the equipment

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or our content guidelines, at our sole discretion.

05 - Conduct
Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Scrape, spider, or harvest data from the platform without written consent
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Distribute spam, viruses, or malicious code

06 - Content
User Content

By posting content on BharatYantra (listings, reviews, comments, photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform and in marketing materials.

You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim ownership over what you post.

You are solely responsible for content you post and must ensure it does not infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy rights, or applicable laws.

07 - Liability
Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• BharatYantra is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed INR 5,000 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months, whichever is greater
• We are not responsible for disputes, damage, or losses arising from rental transactions between users

08 - Termination
Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time via /settings/account or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Provisions regarding content licence, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

09 - Disputes
Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
